Junior Professor Position, Industrial Engineering Research Department

A Junior Professor position is available in the area of Supply Chain Management at Ecole Centrale Paris. The research will be done in the Industrial Engineering Laboratory of Ecole Centrale Paris (Laboratoire Génie Industriel, www.lgi.ecp.fr). Starting from September 2013, the position will be funded by a French automobile sector company, within the context of a Research Chair.

The applicants for the Junior Professor position should have a doctorate and should have demonstrated a strong potential for performing high quality research in:

• Operations Research,
• Supply Chain Management,
• Inventory Control,
• Logistics Management,
• Operations Management.

Preliminary experience in teaching and industry collaborations would be highly appreciated. A good knowledge of the automobile sector would be a plus.

The position is open to candidates of any nationality. The selection will be based on candidates’ research records and their potential to make significant research contributions.

The applicants should be fluent in English. Fluency in French would be appreciated though not mandatory.
