Financing study abroad

Social opportunities represent one of the Ecole Centrale Paris’ major considerations
Because the Ecole Centrale Paris requires that 100% of its students have an international experience for at least six months and to allow each student to achieve their professional and personal project, the School is developing partnerships and seeking all possible solutions for financing in order to meet the diversity of personal circumstances.

The International Mobility Office at the Department of International Affairs can advise you and make the necessary contacts.

Various types of assistance and programmes are available to finance your studies abroad:

ERASMUS

The ERASMUS Grants allow French and European students to finance their studies almost anywhere in Europe. They cover academic mobility or apprenticeships of 3 to 12 months for an amount varying between 150 and 400 Euros per month.

ERASMUS MUNDUS

This financing is related to European programmes that the School coordinates or with which it is associated.
Centrale Paris is the coordinator for two Erasmus Mundus-External Cooperation Window programmes - TANDEM for mobility with China and BEAM for mobility with Japan and Korea.
TANDEM has enabled grants to be awarded until September 1, 2010 to students choosing mobility to China. With the network partners, new financings are being examined.
BEAM can offer doctoral and post-doctoral student financing for mobility to Japan and Korea from September 2011. Applications to apply for this financing have been open since December 2010.

UFA PROGRAMME

The Franco-German University (UFA) grants are awarded to students who choose to follow a programme recognised by the UFA and which is therefore subject to a cooperation agreement. This is the case for the German universities that are partners with the School. The financing amounts are to about 250 Euros per month for 20 months.
A similar programme exists with Italy thanks to the Franco-Italian University.
