Doctoral Studies

Within the context of its mission of training by Research, the École Centrale Paris has a Doctoral School in "Sciences for the Engineer" accredited by the Ministry of National Education, Research and Technology (Doctoral School no 287).

Following the European reform of university certification systems, the École Centrale Paris is authorized to issue the diploma of Master of Research. This diploma will eventually replace the present DEA (Further Studies Degree) and offers the same specialties.

The file for admission to the DEA is still valid to admit you to a Grade in the Master's Programme.

This course offers the possibility of continued study with a thesis in one of the Research Center Laboratories, and after the thesis viva, leads to the title of "Doctor of the École Centrale Paris".
