Hervé Biausser offered the post of Director General of Supélec

The governing body of the school of engineering Supélec (ranked 4th in France) has offered Hervé Biausser, Director of Ecole Centrale Paris (ranked 2nd in France), the post to replace Alain Bravo who will leave his post as Director General of Supélec at the end of August, 2013.
According to the convention for the organisation and operations of Supélec, the School’s Director General is nominated by the Minister responsible for higher education and research, on the advice of the Ministers responsible for Industrial Renewal and Defence.
As of this date, Hervé Biausser will assume management responsibility for both the engineering schools. He will therefore continue to lead until its completion the ambitious strategy for uniting the two Schools under the CentraleSupélec brand.
