Job Fair Brésil 2013
(Châtenay–Malabry, 15 de abril de 2013) Após o sucesso adquirido durante a primeira edição do Job Fair Brasil na cidade de São Paulo em 2012, o grupo das Ecoles Centrales (Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes e Marselha) organizarão neste ano a segunda edição na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, sábado dia 27 de abril das 10 h às 19h no Hotel Sofitel Copacabana (avenida Atlântica nº 4240, Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro – RJ 22070002).
Uma centena de Centraliens que vivem atualmente no Brasil serão esperados. Eles serão colocados e em contato com mais de uma dezena de representantes de empresas do mercado internacional.
Este forum de recrutamento permite as empresas localizadas no Brasil de encontrarem os estudantes Centraliens brasileiros e franceses, bilingues e aumentamente qualificados, aos quais elas apresentarão oportunidades de estágios , de VIE e de ofertas de emprego. A jornada irá também propor aos participantes uma mesa rendonda sobre a temática de carreiras internacionais e de oportunidades oferecidas aos perfis de ingenheiros nos setores das indústrias e de serviços, que será seguida de um evento privado para o estabelecimento de contatos profissionais.
Signature of an Agreement for the creation of the Ecole Centrale Casablanca
(Châtenay-Malabry, April 4, 2013) – The Agreement for the creation of the Ecole Centrale Casablanca was signed on April 3rd, 2013 by Ms. Geneviève Fioraso, French Minister for Higher Education and Research, and the State of Morocco, represented by the Ministers of Economy and Finance, for Higher Education, for Management Training, for Scientific Research and for Industry, Commerce and New Technologies.
The signing ceremony took place yesterday at the Royal Palace, Casablanca in the presence of His Majesty King Mohamed VI, François Hollande, President of the French Republic and Prof. Hervé Biausser, Director of Ecole Centrale Paris.
Hervé Biausser offered the post of Director General of Supélec
(Châtenay-Malabry, Gif-sur-Yvette, April 2, 2013) - Elected as Chief Representative of the Academy of Technologies from July 1, 2013, Alain Bravo will leave his post as Director General of Supélec at the end of August, 2013, a position that he has held since 2004.
The governing body of Supélec has offered Hervé Biausser, Director of the Ecole Centrale Paris, the post to replace him.
According to the convention for the organisation and operations of Supélec, the School’s Director General is nominated by the Minister responsible for higher education and research, on the advice of the Ministers responsible for Industrial Renewal and Defence.
In keeping with the development of the CentraleSupélec Alliance, the Managing Board of Supélec and the Supélec Association have therefore logically proposed the candidature of Hervé Biausser, to take up his new functions on September 1, 2013.
IRSES TRAINING COURSE ON BIO-TRIBOCORROSION Field of application: Food quality and safety
(Châtenay-Malabry, February 4, 2013) This course is taught in the context of the Erasmus programs. Master students can acquire a certificate equivalent to 3 ECTS within the “Erasmus Learning Agreement” between their university and Ecole Centrale Paris. 15 lecturers from 10 countries are shearing their large background and research expertise in complementary fields with the participants from academic institutions and industries.
This course will provide a training on the basics of bio-tribocorrosion (friction, wear, lubrication, coupling of chemical, electrochemical, mechanical and biological effects), with a special emphasis on bio-tribocorrosion in food industry and engineering systems.
Inauguration of the teaching and research Chair for Operational Efficiency and Management Systems
(Paris, November 8, 2012) - BNP Paribas and the Ecole Centrale Paris signed an agreement in May 2012 creating the company Chair for “Operational Efficiency and Management Systems”, under the under the patronage of Georges Chodron de Courcel, Deputy Managing Director of BNP Paribas and Hervé Biausser, Director of the Ecole Centrale Paris.
Improving efficiency has become a major focus over the last ten years, both for industry and services. It has however often been limited to the strict use of tools such as Lean or Six Sigma.
This new Chair therefore aims to examine new procedures for operational efficiency, incorporating methodology, management systems and its cultural and managerial aspects.
Visit of the Ecoles Centrales Group to China for the 15th anniversary of the Franco-Chinese “4+4” program and the 60 years of Beihang University, partner of the Ecole Centrale Beijing
(Châtenay-Malabry, October 22, 2012) – A delegation of the Directors and Directors for International Relations of the Ecoles Centrales Group (Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes and Marseille) went to Chengdu, China on October 23, 2012 on an official visit to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the “4+4” Franco-Chinese exchange program with four Chinese partner universities (Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi’an Jiaotong University et SouthWest Jiaotong University). This visit was also the occasion for the signature of the 3rd renewal of the partnership agreements, for a period of 5 years.

The OMA agency, led by Rem Koolhaas and Clément Blanchet, has been named as the winner of the combined architectural and urban planning competition for the installation of the Ecole Centrale Paris on the Paris-Saclay campus.
(Châtenay-Malabry/Orsay, July 27, 2012) – The Ecole Centrale Paris and the Etablissement Public Paris-Saclay today announce that the team led by the Dutch OMA agency is the winner of the architectural and urban planning competition for the design of the Ecole Centrale buildings and the Joliot-Curie area in which they will be located at Gif-sur-Yvette. The building will be erected next to Supélec, the privileged partner of the Ecole Centrale, and will be close to the Gif-Orsay station on the Grand Paris Express “green” line.
