Pedagogical Objectives
-
Objectifs d'apprentissage en terme de connaissances :
This specialization provides an excellent scientific foundation in process engineering, transfer sciences, and physicochemistry. Beyond technical skills, the training provides students with an overview of the many downstream industries in process engineering, such as biotechnologies, environmental sciences, pharmaceuticals, and agro-food, and of the most innovative advances in these sectors with regards to the adoption of the principles of sustainable development. Upon completion of the training program, students will have acquired the following skills:- an ability to understand microscopic phenomena involved in the complex systems at work in the various operations of process engineering (transfers, interface mechanisms, flows, etc.)
- an ability to conceive and dimension process engineering devices
- an ability to conceive and optimize environmentally sustainable processes in numerous domains
- an ability to grasp the multidisciplinary aspects of processes
- an ability to analyze, simulate and model processes for their optimization
