Business Sciences: Industrial Engineering M1
Pedagogy
The first year of the Master’s programme is designed to provide a solid foundation in the area of industrial engineering, within the overall framework of M1 programmes at École Centrale Paris. The goal of this training is to:
- prepare students for the M2, introducing them to the choice of specializations in the field.
- identify and assess each student’s analytical abilities in order to direct them to the most suitable M2 research programme, or toward professional M2 programmes at other institutions.
The M1 year in Industrial Engineering is the same regardless of M2 specialization. Courses are offered at Centrale Paris exclusively. The M1 is intended to provide a generalist training in industrial engineering, both in terms of tools and methods and in terms of industrial supports.
