Pratical information

The Department for International Affairs, and more specifically its International Mobility Office (BMI), is responsible for advising and monitoring students who travel. It particularly helps them with administrative procedures before their departure and in finding solutions for financing.

To find out about the various options for going abroad, you are advised to contact this Office as soon as you arrive at the Ecole Centrale Paris:

Note the following important events for you during your first year at the School:

  • The scholastic forum in September
  • The options/courses forum in December
  • The Centrale/Supélec forum in December
  • The international forum in February

You will register your option for departure at the end of your first year at the School. The choice of your country of destination is made after your option for departure. The main administrative procedures for candidates for another institution or for a company of your choice will start in the second year. To assist you, the Department of Studies and the Department of International Affairs will give you a guide to help you in the procedures after the international forum in February.

In order to succeed in your professional and personal orientation, start to inform yourself as soon as possible – the School’s staff are all there to help you.
