Non-degree seeking exchange programmes for International students
This program enables students to spend a semester or a full academic year of complete immersion in a multidisciplinary curriculum covering sciences, engineering and humanities. Courses are taken for credits so that this program doesn’t lengthen the student’s studies at the home institution.
Courses may be taken in any of the four semesters (S5 to S8).
Academic Calendar
- S5 = Fall of the 3rd year of post‐high school education,
- S6 = Spring of the 3rd year,
- S7 = Fall of the 4th year,
- S8 = Spring of the 4th year.
The Fall semesters run from early September until the end of January.
The Spring semesters are from February 1 to mid‐June.
International students in their 3rd or 4th year of post‐high school education may choose to take courses form any of the programs offered in Semesters S5‐S8.
The courses taught in Semesters S5‐S6 represent the common core of Centrale Paris and tend to be fairly theoretical, with heavy emphasis on Mathematics and Physics.
The Semesters S7 and S8 offer more electives in engineering and are well suited for international students.
Semester S8 is best suited for students with limited knowledge of French as almost half of the courses are offered in English.
