Applied Mathematics: Vision, Learning M2

Objectives

The Mathematics, Vision, Learning specialization provides a coherent and rigorous introduction to a whole cluster of high-level mathematical (and computer science) concepts, models, and techniques applicable to vision, perception, and learning, through courses focused on highly active research fields:

  • artificial vision,
  • automatic signal and image analysis,
  • emulation of human perceptual and adaptive behavior.

This Master program is thus designed to respond to the dynamic and exciting developments in mathematics applied to modeling and emulation of human intelligence, a development that is supported by the rapid rise of the cognitive sciences.
